In 1988, Ron was flown to England as a winner in the Kodak/BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for an image of a moose drinking. The print was exhibited in the London Museum of Natural History and the Ottawa Museum in Canada. His images have also been exhibited in the Carnegie Museum, Los Angeles Director's Guild in Hollywood, and numerous private and corporate galleries.
An image of a river in Alaska was chosen by local dignitaries to present to the Premiere of China as a gift during a recent visit to Alaska. The print is current hanging in China at the Royal Residence of the Premiere.
Another image from Mexico was used on 40 billboards around the MidWest U.S. Fourteen of his tropical rainforest images were used as murals at West Point Military Academy. His wildlife images have been used in such diverse markets as clothing catalogs, stock market companies, computer software manufacturers, and map publishers.
Ron has also been interviewed on radio programs, spoken to photographic groups, and given multi-media presentations to thousands of people throughout his career. A portion of sales from Ron's images are donated each year to charities including children's care centers, animal care societies and others.
