Simple, honest, no strings.

such a popular place like Alaska, there is simply too much hype, too many
choices, and not enough simple, down-to-earth advice readily accessible

So the Alaska Travel Hotline was born in 1995. Originally set up as a 900 number hotline to be caller-supported in lieu of advertising, it was extremely successful
and growing every year. But not everyone could access 900 numbers, and
we were receiving far more requests for our printed booklet and email versions
than we could handle.
So we decided to focus on the more traditional printed and electronic media.
Since 1998, our "Inside Tips and Secrets" have been available exclusively through us as email or printed versions. We have maintained our objective integrity by not accepting any advertising, giving you the truth about Alaska, and updating all our information yearly.
