Multiple Sclerosis is not only debilitating and unpredictable, it can be a tremendously lonely experience. Add to this, the rigors of living in one of the coldest, unique places on the planet, and it is almost incomprehensible that someone has survived the disease for over 30 years in Alaska.
That's not all, though. Her friend not only opens the doors for her, brings food to her, helps her into elevators, and turns on the lights, he's not even human.
