The Global Image Group (GIG) stock library is filled with almost 2 decades of very unique, non-stock-looking images, as well as more traditional stock images that sell repeatedly.
Images can be ordered directly online by Consumers or Editors, and can be sent digitally via modem or, for larger files, on a CD or other digital media. Depending on your needs, if you require physical transparencies or negatives, we use all the major overnight couriers, as well as postal insured or express mail, and will ship anywhere in the world.
For particular stock themes, locations, or other subjects, we can also quickly put together a customized portfolio and email you images, or give you a private access code to view an online lightbox of exactly what you need.
Why call us and not a mega-agency?
As the mega photo agencies continue to merge and get bigger, there is an inevitable loss of direct, personal and efficient service to photo buyers. We know this, not only because we've been told by our clients, but because we have tried to order images from these agencies as well. Don't be lured by the promise of "millions of images in our files".
We don't have millions of images like the huge conglomerates, but ours are more tightly edited and the percentage of top selling, relevant images is higher. (Only 5% or less of the biggest agency's files are ever sold, so what's the benefit if 95% of their images are useless to you?).
Photo buyers calling a huge conglomerate have also told us of the multitude of problems they have faced, including the unavailability of the "right" people to talk to, inability to locate specific images, delays from red tape and unavoidable hierarchies, sales reps who, understandably, don't know anything specific about the images on file, and prices that reflect the need to cover mega-corporate overhead.
